Oscars 2018 Nominees

 

The awards season is on since the beginning of the year. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve seen women taking position against women women violence or other things happening to women.

Jimmy Kimmel Live host Jimmy Kimmel will host the big event for the second year in a roll. He has publicly announced that he won’t be taken position regarding these matter that seems to obsessed all the awards shows of 2018 even in France with the Cesars 2018.

Recently, Jimmy Kimmel had an interview with ABC News regarding this matter. There is this hashtag #MeToo on social media that people are following to give their support to the cause. There is also the Tim’s Up movment which is hihlighted at the moment. But for Jimmy Kimmel this is not a big deal. He gave his thoughs about this movements:

For Jimmy Kimmel, people like actors, actresses, tv show hosts, athletes, singers, dancers, comedians should not talk about politics. Sharing political points of view while you’re an entertainer is not a good thing because it’ll have some influence on people’s view, the way they see you, the way they would hink you behieve. Besides, people watch my show afer a long stressful day and they want to be dsistracted not talking about serious matters We should be against sxual assaults but for Jimmy Kimmel, but the oscars ceremony it’s a big ceremony, it’s an accomplishment for some people who have been dreaming, working hard to get there. He said he won’t stop making jokes, he won’t stop his bad behavior jokes.
